We respect your privacy. This Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the App, why we process it, how long we keep it, and your choices. By using the App, you confirm that you have read this Policy together with our Terms of Use.

2. Information the App may process

Depending on how you use the App, the following may apply:

2.1 Information you provide or generate

• Language and display preferences stored locally on your device.
• Links or full URLs you paste into the downloader. Those values are sent to our backend API (hosted with Render) so the server can attempt to fetch metadata or files for that link.
• Files you save using the App are stored directly on your device.

2.2 Server logs, IP addresses, and error information

When the App calls our API, our servers and hosting provider may automatically process:

• Client IP address;
• Request timestamp;
• Requested path and query string (including the pasted URL);
• HTTP status codes and error messages;
• User-Agent or similar client headers.

We use this information to operate and secure the service, debug failures, detect abuse, and meet legal obligations.

2.3 WhatsApp / local content

Features that read WhatsApp status or other local folders only do so using permissions you grant on your device. This processing happens entirely locally on your device.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and backend;
• Protect API access and reduce abuse;
• Comply with law and respond to lawful requests;
• Enforce our Terms of Use.

4. Sharing and subprocessors

We may share information with hosting and infrastructure providers (like Render) who process data on our behalf to host the API and logs, and with law enforcement or regulators when required by applicable law.

5. International transfers of information

Yisa Adeola Lukman is established in Nigeria. Our backend infrastructure may be located in or route data through the United States and other countries where our hosting providers operate data centres.

6. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless law requires longer.

• Server logs: typically rotated or deleted within approximately 30–90 days.
• Device-side data stays until you delete the App or clear storage.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No online service is perfectly secure.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object, or withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority.

9. Children and age

The App is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the App. If you are between 13 and 18, you should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

10. Third-party platforms and links

When you paste links to third-party services, those services have their own policies. We do not control them. You are responsible for lawful use.
